Adam Watts

As one of bda's designers I spend my days working on a wide range of projects.

After graduating from university, I spent some time freelancing in London as well as being lucky enough to be accepted onto a three-month placement at a London advertising agency. Both were a good learning curve, though for a leaving gift at my placement, I was given a book titled 'Steps to Success: How to Deal With Stress' - a subtle sign of things to come, perhaps?!

Outside of Work

For me, this involves a pretty steady routine of spending time with my friends, going to gigs, running, mountain climbing and working on my side-projects, which I hope, one day will see the light of day. I cannot stand not having anything to do, so any distraction is usually welcomed.

I am a keen golfer, and while Tiger Woods has nothing to worry about, I try to play as frequently as possible. I enjoy reading a variety of design blogs to keep up with trends and fuel inspiration. CD shopping and anything about space and our planet are also favourites of mine.
