Steve James

My name is James, Steve James, and I'm one of bda's web developers.

Essentially, the designers paint the lovely designed websites, emails, Flash presentations etc, and it's my job to create and make them effective. I have always taken on positions that utilize*, and expand, my desire to find out why things work and how I can make them better. To translate this for my role within bda: I will look at ways to make the websites, etc, that we produce, promote themselves as best they can and employ the most suitable infrastructures so that they perform as effectively as possible.

Outside of Work

Outside of work my time is split many ways:-
  • The healthy hours: I regularly go swimming and, now that my youngest son can reach the pedals on his bicycle, go cycling again.
  • The social hours: I am secretary of a motorcycle club that meets during the week and we go partying with other clubs on weekends.
  • The family hours: My partner, who belongs to her own motorcycle club, and I have two young boys that enjoy swimming, cycling, football, Tae Kwon Do, and doing motorcycle weekends in our huge family tent.
