Web Developer
Outline of position
Predominantly working on client projects, you will be expected to be able to develop web applications through every stage of their lifecycle, from initial specification to deployment, as well as update and maintain existing sites.
You will have an excellent knowledge of programming, and be able to advise and work with a range of other people in our team including developers, designers and account managers to come up with innovative and robust programming solutions for our clients’ often demanding needs.
You must be able to adhere to specifications and deadlines, whilst maintaining a high quality of work, thoroughness, as well as adaptability.
Although you will be able to program from the ground up, you will also need to be able work with Open Source solutions, such as Wordpress and Drupal, as well as our industry leading marketing toolkit solution.

• Payment Service Providers (Paypal, SagePay, etc.)

• Unix server administration (e.g. PHP/Apache configuration)
Qualifications and Experience
You must have at least 2 years experience using PHP and MySQL in a commercial environment, preferably in an agency.
Necessary personal qualities
You should enjoy what you do and strive to produce great work every time. You should be enthusiastic, self motivated, have a positive outlook and always be willing to help. You must be reliable, organised, understanding, determined, a strong communicator and team player. You should be inquisitive, be aware of what future technologies are on the horizon and always want to do things better next time than you did this.
Other Details
Although based in Buckingham some travel may be required to clients. Normal working hours are 9am to 5.30pm, but flexibility is required in order to adhere to deadlines.
