Overview
Transforming a new and unfamiliar concept into one that becomes well-known through effective engagement is one of bda's many strengths. And no more evident than in our various projects for Livebookings, an online marketing and reservations service for the restaurant industry.
From the outset, bda played a central role in promoting Livebookings by developing a video for the launch of their new software, explaining its core business to both existing and prospective customers. The resulting After Effects animation was designed to appeal and relate to a global audience – and stand the test of time, meaning Livebookings could use it on its websites around the world, whenever it wanted.
A more traditional aspect of Livebookings’ marketing aims – its promotional literature – presented the need for various documents that could be used by its worldwide offices.
bda therefore created a range of sales sheets, brochures, internal and external stationery incorporating universal messages and imagery, which in turn was replicated into items for Livebookings' many websites.
Another campaign deployed across Livebookings’ UK and US operations was to promote the newly-created Livebookings’ Pocket Diner product.
Using a brief which dictated a retro style for a very modern product – a service to turn restaurants’ regular websites into smartphone-friendly versions – bda developed a mix of postcards, sales sheets and emailers, all translating the relatively high-tech product into a kooky, friendly and memorable promotional items.
