How to get the best out of client-agency relationships

Clients and agencies work together all the time, but it's so much more than a business-to-business agreement, especially if you want to get the best out of the relationship!

Following on from our last podcast on ideas generation, this week we've discussed how clients and agencies need to trust one another and work in tandem to ensure they achieve what they want to achieve.

Taking from the Russian proverb, "trust but verify," agencies need to understand their client's culture from the ground up, and the team looks into all the necessary aspects of a great working relationship.

We have two ears and one mouth for a reason: listening and understanding is vital. It's about more than a couple of introductory phone calls, by working directly with clients – and we can't emphasise the importance of face to face conversations enough – agencies can develop their relationships by being honest, reliable, and open.
