There have been some great social campaigns recently for the big screen – what’s worked? What hasn’t? Here are our personal takes!

From Deadpool 2 to Black Panther to the remake of Stephen King’s IT, big time movie producers have turned social media campaigns on their heads when it comes to promoting their new releases.

A successful marketing campaign often comes down to really understanding your audience and what makes them tick, so you can be sure your campaign builds awareness, engagement, and ultimately, sales.

With guerrilla marketing shaking things up and new campaigns targeting audiences en masse to get people behind it, there is no right or wrong way to launch a social campaign.

But there’s still tonnes of things businesses can learn from the movies. Virtual Reality is a growing technology, and a fantastic way to immerse your target market in the service or experience.
