Founded over 50 years ago, Michael Graham Estate Agents has grown to over 14 networked offices covering 8 counties and central London. Their regional experts have the knowledge and insight to help people make their dream of rural life a reality.
In 2006, BDA developed a website for Michael Graham. Through social media and advertising, website traffic increased year on year, and Michael Graham wanted to improve on the original.
The website set the bar in estate agency, and we needed to not only refresh the look and feel, but we also needed:
- The ability to deliver more dynamic, exciting content including video
- To make it more immersive – to account for increased mobile traffic
- To enable in-house content management – from staff updates to blogs to vacancies
In a crowded marketplace, we wanted to differentiate Michael Graham by highlighting their excellence, local knowledge and real people, and provide high value to their clients.
The project took approximately ten months to build, including seven months of development work, resulting in a modular website that can be adapted quickly and easily in response to a fluctuating market.
It also enables us to continually improve it as desired.
More than responsive
One of the key points of the website built was optimising it for use on mobile as over 60% of Michael Graham’s traffic came from mobile devices.
We ensured the website functions worked on mobile and desktop versions, with seamless UX across both.
Michael Graham is about more than just listing a property.
To aid their users' journey and provide them with real value, we created several features, including an online booking system, lifestyle section, and bespoke destination for buyers.
By scaling back the text, the website lets photography and video showcase the best of Michael Graham.
